Admiral Cottage Information
Admiral Cottage is in the centre of a terrace of fisherman’s cottages, tucked away behind Fore Street with panoramic views from all floors towards the harbour and beyond to Godrevy and St Ives Bay. The cottage has recently been renovated by its architect owner and local builder to enhance the quality of light and space using only natural or sustainable materials. The house has gas central heating and thus is usable all year round.
Admiral is approached by a flight or steps down from Barnoon and the car parks or up from Academy steps located along Fore Street opposite the Sea Food Cafe. The approach is through a pretty garden and outside seating area which is rare in central St Ives and yet is seconds from the hustle and bustle of the town.
Admiral has 3 bedrooms and 3 floors as the living /dining space is on the middle floor to make the most of the breathtaking views. It sleeps a maximum of 6 and is ideal for beach, food and art lovers alike.
There is no through access so the location is a quiet oasis even in the hustle and bustle of mid season, yet is right in the heart of the town and has outstanding views. There is always something going on to catch the eye, fishing boats landing their catch or children playing on the sand.
